Does anyone know how to get rid of a fly infestation? We've searched and can't find any obvious reason why we suddenly have hundreds of flies. Maybe you need an exorcism - remember Amityville??

Wow, that's creepy. It would've been my guess, something dead or food. We used to get maggots in canned petfood outside while I was growing up. Then we got a mysterious maggot/fly infestion in our garage about the time I was reading Amityville. I still don't know where they came from but blame it on possession!

The creepiest part is the buzzing of the flies stuck to the flypaper. Since there are a lot of them it's loud.

We've never had this before. So weird.

We are having the same problem - I found this online it's for fruit flies, but maybe it will work?

Don't know if the room your flies are frequenting has a fireplace ... but if so, you might want to check it for nesting and/or deceased wildlife ... that was the cause of our sudden (and creepy) infestation.
