I'm gonna be a musician when I'm older.....I can't write songs or play an instrument but I will! soon! I need to save my money to buy a guitar...does anyone know what kind I should start with?...an acoustic?...or an electric guitar?........blegh....somebody help me, I think though if i get a guitar and learn how to play then writing would come

Well personally, I think it's best to learn with acoustic. I first learned with acoustic. Make sure you get steel strings. Acoustic is a tiny bit harder to learn than electric because the action is usually higher and the strings thicker. It's just a tad harder tho. But its rewarding if you learn acoustic first, because then when you get an electric you'll be a pro ;). I'm glad you wanna learn and I'm telling you it takes a lot of commitment. And tons of practice. You're probli gonna be very frustrated at first. Guitar is not an easy instrument to learn. Your fingers probably won't even stay down on the frets at first. That's why you gotta be determined! But don't worry you can do it. If you're not gonna take lessons I recomend you get a good book to teach yourself like I did. And if your gonna buy a guitar.. it's a biggg investment. When I bought my first acoustic and electric, I went for the cheaper brands because I didn't wanna dish out the cash. DON"T DO THIS. You end up spending more money in the end fixing crappy equiptment and
