Knowing that Asch's dumbass was going to leave at midnight again, Luke made sure that he stayed up later than usual so he could catch his original in the act. They had to run into each other at some point, didn't they? They lived in the same hotel, but Luke wasn't sure which room Asch was staying in, which made it more irritating that he had to run in circles for his stupid original.

It was three minutes to midnight, and Luke figured that he could get a head start if he left now to find Asch.

Of course, he was rather surprised to see Asch. Right in front of him. Ready to leave.

"Asch?!"

Asch felt the hairs on the back of his neck standing on end when he heard the door behind him opening. He didn't think anything of it until he heard the dreck's familiar voice. He whirled on him, glaring at him and the door behind him.

"...you've got to be kidding."

He finished locking up his door (he was going to have to get another lock with the dreck so damn close), before storming down the hallway.

"Go to bed, idiot," he snapped over his shoulder. "It's past your bedtime!"

Except -- Luke doesn't listen to him. Refuses to listen to him, actually, and just ends up following in a rush so that he can catch up to Asch and keep an eye out for him. But man. He sure was lucky, this time. Having Asch literally a door across from him saved him time with having to run around the whole hotel and Prospero again.

"Shut up, Asch!" WHOA. SUDDEN BACK BONE. "I'm going with you this time!"

Asch let out an annoyed noise, more irritated that the dreck actually had the nerve to talk back to him than the fact he was still following him. What happened to the long haired idiot he used to mop Yulia City's floor? He almost missed that version of the replica, if only because he was easier to fling around when he wanted to.

"I don't need you with me, idiot!" Asch snapped. "You'll just be in the way, as usual!"
