Wow, I guess you got lucky there- good thing he showed his true colors on the first day!

What happened to your entry from today? I was going to make a comment about the possible reasons they would be giving away full scholarships so easily...

Drat, and here I was thinking that I'd made it private B4 anyone saw it... I decided that you guys were probably bored to tears with my career ruminations and figured I'd think about it some more before bringing it up with anyone.

Also, I did a little more research myself which sort of killed my initial spurt of enthusiasm- their bar passage rates are Not Great, I read some unpleasant stuff about them on a few message boards, and they're kind of a joke among other law schools b/c they put out their own set of "law school rankings" each year, one that puts them near the top.

But nevertheless, I'll still keep Cooley in mind. After all, a free ABA-accredited degree is a free ABA-accredited degree, and I'm not sure how much where you go to law school really matters for solo practice anyway.

(However, am now thinking that solo practice is too much of a risk for Sarah, The Girl Who Never Takes Risks to comfortably endure, and that school librarianism still looks darn good.)
