1ST PERSON
Why... Why, why, why, dammit?!
[ There's a very angry redhead that appears on your device should you be looking - after all, it's the return of Luke fon Fabre, and asides from his general look of annoyance that some residents around here may be familiar with, he's really ticked off now. More than usual, anyway. ]
What the hell is this place's deal, anyway? Are the kidnappers just trying to get between me and saving Akzeriuth?! [ This was the second time, after all. ] Master Van and I were so close-- everyone in Akzeriuth was going to be saved and I was going to be a hero! The chosen one, just like the Score said! I mean, I was just about to...
[ Notice how he doesn't mention anyone else that might have been involved with helping. Hm. He trails off, remembering to keep his plans between himself and Van a secret. ]
In any case... That was really weird. I mean, I went back to Akzeriuth and all, but when I was there, it was just business as usual, trying to... you know, help out all the people or whatever. [ As if he did any of the work. ] I didn't remember any of this stuff at all - Zodion, The Twelve, or any of that weird worshiping business. I just... completely forgot about it all. Must've been my amnesia again... Was it that traumatizing?
[ He holds his head in confusion. ]
But now that I'm here again, I remember everything like it all just happened! So what's the deal?! It's not like I remembered anything about my kidnapping when I went to Malkuth! Why do you Zodion freaks like me so damn much to keep dragging me back here!! I don't have time for this-- I'm the goodwill ambassador! Stop trying to make me do stuff!
[ He grumbles in annoyance, before shutting off the feed. ]
3RD PERSON
"Foolish replica Luke."
The words that had caused caused a shiver to run through his already tensed body, poised in front of Akzeriuth's passage ring in order to bring about his hyperresonance, were the last Luke heard before being whisked away without even realizing. Master Van... He really said that, didn't he... But just what does he mean by calling me a replica? Guess I'll ask him once we're outta this dump.
No time to think. Upon opening his eyes, he expected to see the result of his hyperresonance being cast - Akzeriuth saved, no miasma, praise and love from all the people around him, calling him a hero. Instead, something was definitely off. Sure, the miasma didn't seem to be anywhere to sight, like Master Van said, but that didn't explain why he was somewhere else completely now, on top of the fact that Master Van was nowhere around.
"Master?! I did it, I got rid of the miasma! But-- Where are you? Man, don't tell me that hyperresonance caused me to--" Luke pauses for a moment, letting something register in his mind. "Wait a second... I know this place... This is-- Dammit! Why'd they have to bring my back here?! What'd I do that was so special, huh?! Now how am I supposed to know if I became a hero, or-- Huh?"
Before he knew it, the box on the nearby altar was practically glowing, beckoning him towards it. Oh no, not this again. I don't have time to screw around here! Luke thinks to himself, his feet already moving himself towards its general direction, and he sighs, giving up and deciding to head towards it after all. Well, whatever. At least I'll be able to get in touch with everyone using that weird machine thing again. Wonder if Vanille's still around... Or that Jun guy... Those guys were pretty alright. Unlike Asch. What was his deal, anyway? Telling me I'm gonna destroy Akzeriuth or whatever-- What the hell does that guy know about anything! ... Kinda gives me a weird feeling, though. But Master Van would never betray me, so I know he was just trying to throw me off. Jerk.
Luke groans a little in pain as he steps across the ring of water surrounding the altar, causing a sting in his shoulder as the waters rise around him, reflecting his naked body and the new (but not completely foreign) tattoo that he was currently gripping at. He flushes slightly - this part would never stop being totally weird to him, but whatever. "Yeah yeah, I get it already! Outta the way!" He kicks the water impatiently (god forbid he step through it and let his clothes get all wet), before it recedes and he runs to the altar.
"Just as I thought," he mutters to himself upon opening the box. The little fontech machine thingamajig sat inside, as well as the letter from The Twelve. Damn Zodion, damn these twelve gods and all their annoying crap. I'll show them not to mess the chosen hero! He glances at the machine. I guess now I can tell everyone that I managed to get outta here... N-Not that I'm interested in helping or anything. I just figured they'd like to know before going through all the trouble to find out themselves. That's all.
