I just got a letter from the irs saying I made a mistake on my 2006 taxes. my preparer from that year is currently in prison for embezzlement. uncle sam says I owe them 685 dollars. so I'm taking my stimulus check and sitcking it in an envelope and sending it right back without cashing it.
