Folks in the BSG crowd know that I tend to be a bit late to the party. I got into BSG, and really really got into it, the year after the finale I think. Watching the episodes four at a time on DVD was not good enough I had to devour commentary, then missing scene stories, character analyses, rewrites of the future, rewrites of the past... I was late to BSG too, but I marathned the first two season just before season three. Loved that show, but I think because I was already totally immersed in The Sarah Connor Chronicles, I never really found my way into the fandom side of BSG.

Lena Headey, indeed! I'd never heard of her before TSCC, but was so impressed with her portrayal of Sarah that I backtracked through some of her work (and I've since enjoyed her in GoT). I'm totally with you on the strong, complicated female characters too. That's what always draws me to a show. And Sarah Connor? OMG Love.

I was part of savethescc and we fought long and hard for a continuation. It nearly paid off, but there have been legal complications with the rights to the show that prevented anything from moving forward. Maybe one day the gods will smile on us and we'll actually get a TSCC movie. I'll keep hoping.
