That has a nice ring to it. It makes you sound like a mystery/crime author. hahha. I'm so happy for you Mel, you deserve it sooo much. Oh, and Paddy's Day, was that a coincidence? :) I love the kilts. We were at a wedding in Scotland a couple years ago and everyone wore them. It was magical. :) Did the hubby wear anything under his? (winky winky!)
Nope it's not a coincidence. The history of the "Scott" family is that they're both Scottish and Irish. So there's kilt wearin', and it's on St. Pat's - no coincidence. Also we wanted a memorable anniversary date :)
Sadly, he *did* wear something under his kilt. He usually goes regimental, but my mother pooh-poohed the idea, and in the end we figured - which would be worse, the embarrassment of the wind showing he wasn't being 100% true to his heritage, or the embarrassment of everyone else's blush if the wind showed he WAS ;)
Thanks, and thanks! I *had* a white wedding dress, the thousand-dollar-kind, gifted to me about 10 years ago, but surprise surprise, I don't fit it anymore. I loved this dress that Mom and I found in its stead, and the color worked out well :)
