i'm such a slag, i go for months and months, not being able to even remotely come close to keeping up with everyones LJ. i'm trying now, (even though i doubt i'll come close to doing that)

This line, I forgot to hold my anger close, and just held him. was simply perfect. And I totally got that while Dom was upset, it wasn't something between him and Billy. Billy being there made me think he was going to help Dom sort out what ever was wrong, maybe not by questioning him, but just by being there.
