Thanks!

I’m going to take a few days to chill. Then I’m going to finish doing the music for Jane and Ginger’s film, send my solo CDR that Sockets just put out to press/radio, go to NY to breathe down Derek’s neck as he mixes the Caution Curves CD that we recorded over Thanksgiving, go to Cape Cod for Xmas, and come back here to start a new gig at the FAA in January.

Eh, I'm not all that busy, it just sounds that way. I want to hang soon too; I want to see the new Chez Stace.

Thank you. The good thing is that the people there so far seem to be exact opposites from the ones you were describing in your last entry...willing to listen to new ideas, understand different peoples' methods of learning/working, etc.

Thanks. Yeah, hate...for a long time, actually, but it'd been getting worse lately. I can't believe I haven't bitched about it to you! I'm happy to have this new opportunity, which will undoubtedly bring with it a whole new set of problems, oh joy!

No, I didn't work for the Smithsonian. (The Smithsonian gig I've mentioned on LJ a couple of times is a part-time thing that I do during their Folklife Festival each summer, and I don't hate that at all, I love it actually.) The object of my hatred was my full-time job at a much smaller cultural organization in DC. Things were getting ugly there, my boss there has the temper of an active volcano, and I'm glad to say goodbye to it.

Yes, the station will be receiving some packages from me soon :) I hope you're well!
