Stuff that's been happening:

  • I've been invited to be on an upcoming furthernoise compilational thing. I must compose something musique-concrety for this.
  • Joined up with that gamelan ensemble that everyone seems to join up with at some point. It's something I've been meaning to do for a long time that I think will be educational and perhaps ( Read more... )

    I miss you too lady!

Martha asked if I could help watch Campbell and Thayden while she recovers from surgery and I said hell yeah. I have no idea what I'll do to entertain these kids...perhaps I'll tote them around town visiting everyone?

I'm going to cross-post about those cats to my other journal.

I've been bummed lately because my roommate's family friends own property with a feral cat colony, and have not really taken efforts to have them spade & neutered - there must be some kind of volunteer group out here that could do it, right? They came over for dinner and announced that one of my cats has such a short tail because "a bunch of their tails froze off outside."

I looked at them and said "why don't you have your cats fixed" and they all ignored me, so I went to my room and cried. I really hate people sometimes!

I do read it, but "collaborative work environment" = not many opportunities to comment vena_cava March 13 2008, 18:25:59 UTC
Try The Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon. They might ask you to coordinate the trapping program for this colony...you'll end up setting up lots of traps with open cans of tuna!

I can't do anything like that, these folks live in the sticks and I don't have transportation

Yeah, most feral colonies that benefit from trap-neuter-return programs are being cared for by people who live on or near the site of the colony. If the owners of the property don't give a shit, I don't think there's much that an outsider can do. Sad.
