I have been coming to my senses since I stopped drinking on 08/18/08.

My new job is in the same field and connected to the same company I've been working for the last 3 years. It pays better and has a crapload of potential that I could never attain in the corporate environment.

How are you all doing?

That is just awesome. I stopped taking sleeping pills at about the same time and I had no idea that they screwed me up so bad in the daytime. I can think so much more clearly now.

Job situation is very good at present but the best one is a temp job that may or may not last out the year. I may be able to find another in the same field because the people that I am working for have other branches....we shall see.

I am so glad to hear that you too are doing better. Never give up.

Congratulations on both your job and your sobriety! I take it both are hard but rewarding work. :)

I'm doing wonderfully, all things considered. The details are over on IS, but yeah, having a job I love and being able to start paying down my debt in this economy keeps me in pretty buoyant spirits. (The 360 I picked up this past winter helps too, admittedly.) :D
