Masochism can be a strong defensive mechanism when utilized correctly. How can you destroy someone which enjoys the machinations of their own destruction? How can you beat one which enjoys being beaten? How can you hurt someone which gains strenght and pleasure, rapture and joy, from that same hurt in which you give unto them?

Found out if you step away from the books that you where brought up reading you will sooner or later beome detached from that side of your ego.
