You don't find the things funny that we do because we're different kinds of mature. You think they're not funny cause you're mature, we think (or, at least I think that personally I do, so I'll use the term "I" here to not speak for everyone unvouched for) things are funny because I'm mature I can not take everything seriously.
Your sense of humor isn't dead. Just on a different level. That doesn't mean it's bad or unfunny.
I think you're not worried because you have no time to worry; it's how I felt over summer.
