The day was busy and it started off with me and my mom driving around to find a place that sold scrubs. We ended up at a store in Clifton and I got some nerdy scrub outfits and Ked shoes for work. LBI was pretty good. It wasn't the best of the years I've been down there but it was nice to be on vacation. Some of the highlights...

I went to the dentist today and the dentist offered me a job. So now I am a part-time dental assistant. The job itself doesn't seem bad and the hours aren't either. Mondays 5-9, occasionally Tuesdays 4-8, Thursdays 5-9, and Saturdays 8-4. Its $6.50 an hour but I'll be making more than babysitting. Very happy and... I get to wear scrubs!

Today was good. I bought pink and brown checkerboard slip-ons from Vans and they're awesome. I also won a free 20 oz bottle of Coke. Go me!

I feel kind of bad for my fish. He got some kind of infection from getting cut on something, so now the tips of his fins are literally rotting. Since all my algae eater does is eat, he keeps swimming after the ( Read more... )
