Goals: To be a professional musician.
Give song lyrics that describe you:
This is a bit of an exaggeration of what I feel sometimes, but it's the basic principle of the song that I relate to.
She's locked up with a spinning wheel
She can't recall what it was like to feel
She says "This room's gonna be my grave
And there's no one who can save me."
She sits down to her colored thread
She knows lovers waking up in their beds
She says "How long can I live this way
Is there noone I can pay to let me go
'Cause I'm half sick of shadows
I want to see the sky
Everyone else can watch as the sun goes down
So why can't I
And it's raining
And the stars are falling from the sky
And the wind
And the wind I know it's cold
I've been waiting for the day I will surely die
And it's here
And it's here for I've been told
That I'll die before I'm old
And the wind I know it's cold."
She looks up to the mirrored glass
She sees a handsome horse and ride pass
She says "That man's gonna be my death
'Cause he's all I ever wanted in my life
And I know he doesn't know my name
And that all the girls are all the same to him
But still I've got to get out of this place
'Cause I don't think I can face another night
Where I'm half sick of shadows
And I can't see the sky
Everyone else can watch as the tide comes in
So why can't I
But there's willow trees
And little breezes, waves, and walls, and flowers
And there's moonlight every single night
As I'm locked in these towers
So I'll meet my death
But with my last breath I'll sing to him I love
And he'll see my face in another place"
And with that the glass above her
Cracked into a million bits
And she crid out "So the story fits
But then I could have guessed it all along
'Cause now some drama queen is gonna write a song for me"
She went down to her little boat
And she broke the chains and began to float away
And as the blood froze in her veins she said
"Well then that explains a thing or two
'Cause I know I'm the cursed one
I know I'm meant to die
Everyone else can watch as their dreams untie
So why can't I"
--"Shalott" | Emilie Autumn
•This or That•
Hero or villain? I would go with my hero, but these terms are relative.
Past or future? We must learn from our past so the same mistakes are not made in the future.
Water or fire? Water
Wisdom or knowledge? Knowledge
Reality or fiction? Reality
Simplicity or complexity? Complexity
Cautious or brave? There must be bravery for anything to be accomplished, but caution should be taken in some situations.
•Ideas are bullet-proof•
A paragraph on something political you feel strongly about:
Abortion. Everyone has an opinion on it. I'm in the gray area, but don't dare call me wishy-washy. I don't think that abortions should be used as a sort of birth control. But there are some situations where I think they ought to be an option (rape, incest, endangering the mother's health). Some women are going to have abortions whether they can be performed legally or not, and they need to be safe. I don't think the government has any right to tell anyone what they can and cannot do to their own bodies.
•V for Vendetta•
Favorite character: It's a toss-up between Evey and Valerie. And no, not because they're the two female characters. I admire Evey's loyalty and the strength that she gained. I also really admire the love that Valerie kept for everyone, even after all she had been through. Her conclusion about love literally brought me to tears.
Least favorite character: The bishop (whose name I can't currently remember) really creeped me out.
If you were given a chance to look behind V's mask, would you? I admit it, I'd be very curious, but he was right: his appearance had nothing to do with his character. He wouldn't want to see, so I'd respect his decision.
Would you have joined V's revolution? I would be tentative at first, but in the end I would.
One or two pictures of yourself please. If you have none, you can describe how you look:
