Non-laptop computer: if you aren't gaming i can make you a non breaky one for like $300 without a monitor Quality Headphones: Grado SR-60's or Grado SR-80's. ($70-$100)
One thing that you may want to look into getting is a mini voice recorder for when you have lectures. It's an investment that really helped me out. I would take down the basic notes but, record the whole lecture because sometimes I had exams over the lectures themselves.
check out finch, boys night out, at the drive in, bayside, number one fan, cky, fallout boy, mineral, thursday, brand new, letter kills, yellowcard, or boy sets fire.
Beth says: Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra plz. There's another one I'll have to tell you in a bit. It's on the same burned CD I have of TSP. They rock too. <3
Before you go to college, I highly recommend a Secured Credit Card. It's the kind where you give them $100 and you get a credit card with a $100 limit. You can use it just like a regular MC/Visa but you never have to worry about not being able to pay your bill. If you fail to pay they just take it outta the money you gave them. Great practice for having a real card, and it looks good on your credit. You will need a credit history by the time you exit college.

I'd never go to college without a rice cooker.

Maybe some cheap silverware stuff, and all the other stuff you eat with/on.
A TV/DVD/VCR/gaming system? - don't know how often you use these though.
That's all I can think of. =P Good luck also!
