I have a yorkie and she's awesome. Unless you're going to rent a house, I wouldn't get a big dog. The little dogs like Yorkies enjoy being indoors and smaller dog = smaller poops. IMHO, pit bulls are dangerous no matter what people say about "it's training" or "they're one-person dogs". Wolves aren't tame and have a primordial killer instinct, so do pit bulls. Just my .02 cents.

My Yorkie was the *worst* inside dog I've ever had. Lol.. =D He was the most hyper and nutty. Strangely enough, my Jindos have been the best. They get the same bad rep as pits in the "dog world". They are also fighting dogs and have that same strong-willed personality. I worry about their growing popularity and have even heard people are now breeding them *with* pit bulls. I am horrified. The thing is, the German Shepherd (for one, as there are many others) ranks far higher on the number of attacks in the US than the Pit Bull. Leave it to the media to make people think otherwise, though. =\

Really? Our Yorkie (actually a Silky - mix of Yorkie Terrier and Austrailian Terrier) is great indoors, but she does love to go outside and run...with the right training, she could have been one of those obstacle course dogs, and she's a barker, but it's cute because she does it in a protective way ... like she could do anything to the big rotweiler outside. We got her at a pet store, yes bad I know, but she was there for so long we figured she wasn't going to get bought and might end up someplace bad

Yeah... he was a crazy dog, but sooo cute and a total clown. Very smart too. I, of course, don't agree with pet store buying but sometimes you just find the right animal in the wrong place. I don't think it's wrong to do it in that case. =)

Border terriers are awesome dogs. It's so wonderful to hear of a successful adoption of a mistreated animal. <333 I had no idea the Pasadena shelter had that on their website. What a damn good idea! I will certainly check it out

Ooooh, yeah they are shitty. Sometimes you have to call a few times to get through. =) I have a lot of news though, so when you get the chance. I get there around 6:30pm
