they were on saf fansign event where the got7 members is posing for the camera that is circled around them, but at some point, jaebum is out of his reach, jinyoung looks around to find jaebum, but all he sees is the elder opening his arm widely, not to forget about the bright smile that is plaid on the elder's face when the blond male is coming over him and giving him a tight hug. and jinyoung could only look away and act like everything is fine.

jinyoung thinks that it is so freaking ridiculous at how jaebum barely look at his way. he found it so freaking ridiculous that the both of youngjae and jaebum spend time way too much in their room doing absolutely nothing but cuddling up together. and he find it ridiculous that they are so lovely even on the fancafe, and jinyoung is hurting. way too much, too fucking much. but all he can do is watch, and looking at the shattered pieces of heart everywhere around him.

jinyoung is there when he sees jaebum crying in practice room at midnight when jyp announce that jaebum will be debuting together with jinyoung. at that time, everything is going too well, too freaking well at the point jinyoung almost confessed to jaebum but seeing how much happiness that jaebum emits when jinyoung hugged him and tell him that they will always be together as a bestfriend makes jinyoung's confident gone. so jinyoung backed away and stay at jaebum's side, leaving his feelings unsad.

jinyoung is sick when they are filming their last episode of realgot7 season2 and jaebum was there, besides him and most likely protecting him. jaebum is jinyoung's pillar and will always be his pillar. at the night when jaebum check on jinyoung's fever, jinyoung hold jaebum's wrist tightly and he looks up at jaebum, leaning closer to the elder to capture the elder's lips with his and after awhile, jaebum pushed him off telling that he and youngjae is already in a relationship. and at that night, jinyoung cried himself to sleep. alone, and that night, jinyoung knows that he will never have his jaebum again, jaebum and jinyoung against the world will never be available.
the first thing i want to tell you, don’t hurt anymore
it has been five weeks ever since jinyoung's confession and the both of them becoming very awkward and distant. but the members did not see how sorrowful jinyoung's eyes is. the members didn't know that the both of them is having a problem because they have been distant for so long. jinyoung remembers, he was about to walk home when he hears a groan from the practice room only to see jaebum clutching onto his ankle while groaning painfully and he rushed to the practive room, totally worried and he helped jaebum home. he hold jaebum tightly and somehow he has forgotten that he is on his way to forget the elder. the next day jaebum woke up to a bandaged ankle that has a handwriting of jinyoung; 'don't hurt yourself anymore'.

jaebum cried at their around the world concert - their japan debut and jinyoung immediately walks over him to wrap his arms around the leader, but the leader stiffens. he knows that jaebum does not need his arms anymore and when jinyoung let go of the hug, jaebum already joking around with youngjae, and it hurts jinyoung even more. but jinyoung promised to himself, that no matter what happened, he will always be at jaebum's back. no matter how deep jaebum has fallen, he will always pull jaebum up again.
the second thing i want to tell you, don’t cry by yourself
jaebum cried sometimes, because of the amount of things he carried by his shoulders and sometimes jaebum is lost at himself. jaebum look at his reflection on the mirror of the practice room and he sighs, jaebum is a wreck and he didn't know on what to do right now. it was very early in the morning so of course, jaebum is save from future embarrassment of crying, but he gasps when jinyoung comes into the room, jaebum abruptly acts like nothing happened but jinyoung only wrap his arms on the elder's body, telling that the elder is good, that he is so proud of im jaebum, and telling that his shoulder will always be free for im jaebum to cry on.
i’ll protect your bright smile
jinyoung can't help but to feel and overwhelming warm whenever he sees jaebum smiled ever so brightly, and even though jinyoung knows that he will no longer be the reason behind jaebum's bright smile, and jinyoung is okay with it, as long as jaebum's smiling so brightly, jinyoung's happy.

jinyoung knows so well that jaebum still cares for him. jinyoung knows that he is still somewhere inside the leader's heart whenever the leader smiles at him.
i need to leave you, i’m silently crying, i’m erasing my heart
jinyoung knows that everything is really bad for his heart and he knows that he need to put aside his feelings for jaebum and be even more professional. he knows this is his time to go. and so, jinyoung cried himself to sleep for days at the thought of erasing jaebum from his heart, he is in so much pain, and he doesn't want anyone to know about how muchhurting he is.

jinyoung is talking to mark, or more likely having mark's arm wrapped around his body as he cried, he hates this all. he hates how unhappy he has become. he hates how much of hate that he is emitting to everyone, and he hates it that he just ruin his self even more, so he tells mark about everything eve since day one, he tells mark about how much he wanted to tell jaebum everything, but at the end, no words came out from his lips to jaebum, only a whispers into mark's ear that telling him that he was happy. that jinyoung used to be happy.
because i was able to be by your side, like a gift
jinyoung remembers it clearly when he is still jaebum's everything. he remembers when jaebum hugged him too tightly like he was a gift that no one will ever have. jinyoung is grateful that for once, he is everything that jaebum have. for once, jinyoung is the gift that jaebum will never let go of.
