2001
"Jaebum-ah, do you want to come with me and greet our neighbor next door?"
His mom said softly, crouching down infront of him as the seven years old Jaebum is fiddling with his car toy. He looks up and his lips formed into a smile, nodding in excitement as he is curious of his neighbor next door ever since a week ago. He ever see the glimpse of a boy whose age is around him and his cheeks is chubby and Jaebum thinks he is pretty.
And there he is, standing infront of the pretty boy's door, holding his favorite Tigger plushie in hope that the other boy will like his little present. Much to his liking, the one who open the door for Jaebum and his Mother is the pretty boy himself, using a kangaroo onesie. The side of the boy's lips is curved upside and his eyes is twinkling in excitement as he opens the door even more widely, and jumps to where his dad at while shouting, "DADDY! WE GOT A VISITOR!" and Jaebum couldn't help but to grins at how cute the other guy is.
And in the next 30 minutes, he found himself in a blue painted walls room, with a bed and one study desk that color is the shades of blue. Everything about the room is blue, and Jaebum adores the room, and the person who owns the room more.
By the end of the evening, Jaebum learnt that his name is Jinyoung, he speaks with accent, he born in September 22th in Jinhae. He also learnt that Jinyoung and him will be in the same school and Jaebum couldn't help but to pray to God so that he and Jinyoung will share the same class.
And God makes his wish come true.
2007
They are now 13. And they are now on their first day of Junior High School, which Jaebum and Jinyoung chooses the same school. "Because Jaebum/Jinyoung needs me" The both of them said when their primary school teacher ask them why did they choose the same school and not trying to go to other school and all.
2008
Jinyoung experienced his first love, or so he thought it is. The lad's name is Mark Tuan, a foreigner who has just moved to the town and is an awkward sunshine sugar pie in Jinyoung's eyes. They grew close, eventually. Because Mark is having a hard time and Jinyoung is just there to help him.
They were on the library, trying to study for the upcoming exam when Jinyoung tells Jaebum about Mark
"Jaebum-hyung," Jinyoung says as his eyes looks around but at his bestfriend,
"Mmmm?" Jaebum replies without looking up from his textbook.
"I.. Kind of having a crush, on someone." Jinyoung says again, his eyes twinkled in happiness and Jaebum looks up from his textbook, brows furrowed.
"Who? Please don't tell me you are having a crush on Mark Tuan!" Jaebum says rather so loudly to the point everyone is looking at the both of them and Jinyoung just groans, hiding his face on his palms.
But Jinyoung tells Jaebum, anyways.
He tells Jaebum about how much he feels happy whenever Mark is around him and all, but Jaebum just replied him with, "You are too young for this shit." And Jinyoung pouts. And Jaebum just ruffles his hair, "If he does belongs to you, then he will be with you. Don't be sad, pup."
2009
It happened. The day that Park Jinyoung is finally getting the man of his dreams, Mark Tuan. Mark confesses to him right on their graduation day and Jinyoung feels happy, without saying anything else, he accepted him.
Jaebum knows, of course. He will always be the first one who knows about Jinyoung own doings and all, because after all, Jaebum is the person who always support Jinyoung in any way that they both does not even realize.
Jinyoung and Jaebum parted on High School. Jaebum says he needed s new environment and Jinyoung is chasing Mark. But, they are still neighbors after all. Jinyoung still lives next door and it doesn't bother the both of them that much. And indeed, they hang out more and spend their months holiday together. Just the two of them.
They make a vow to each other to never leave one another side, and they are being cheesy as hell or more like Jinyoung is being cheesy as hell for buying a couple necklace with Jaebum, with an,
"Im jaebum & Park Jinyoung,
Against the whole world"
Engraved on the necklace and they feel satisfied.
This should've be longer but I just didn't get any of the feeling anymore and I will end up by deleting this if I didn't post it on anywhere. I'm suck, so much.
