That was really neat! I don't follow colorguard much (for that matter I don't follow drum corps much) but it looks great.

Is the floor mat a musical staff? It was a really cool effect right after the rest of the mat is pulled out and you hold the form as notes on the staff. My "Oh cool" brought my roommate in the room to see what was so neat.

Let me know if you come to Ft. Walton Beach or anywhere in this area. I'd like to see it live.

1) How can you not follow drum corps much?!?! AHHH

2) Yes, the floor is supposed to look like a staff. Notice at the end that we set down our flags in a G chord and then close the black line so it's a double black line between us and the one painted on the mat, showing the end of a piece of music (look at ME explaining music to YOU). Well noticed :)

3)This was our 2007 show, so this was back in April. Since it's MSU's guard, we probably won't be traveling anytime soon, even though I think we are going independent this year. And by "we" I mean "they" because I can't do winterguard this year due to the fact that I'll be in South Africa for half the season.
