We had a family cook-off this weekend, in which Abi and I took first place. We made bacon wrapped scallops for the appetizer (although prosciutto may have been a better choice), a lemon sorbet for the intermezzo, rack of lamb with potatoes and white wine asparagus for the entre, and a warm lava fudge cake ala mode for the dessert. about an hour. we were working with 2 ovens. the lava cakes and sorbet were both made the night before, though.
