So, I was discussing with a co-worker the superhero movies coming out over the next few years, leading up to the Avengers movie. And, I decided last night who I want to play Captain America

I think he'd be AWESOME as Captain America. I just hope the script would be good.

Anyone who complains about a Black/Samoan playing Captain America needs to ask themselves where the hell they were when a Welshman was hired to play Zorro.

You're just saying that he'd make a great Clark/Superman because he did so on SNL. ;-)

And I'd like to see someone make a Cap movie that'd be WORTHY of having the Rock in it, and that'd require a script that's at least better than The Scorpion King. (Since, you know, we're asking for things that Hollywood is allergic to. )

Hell, I think the Rock would make a great Punisher, but I'd never cast him as the Punisher because no one seems capable of making a good (or even decent) Punisher movie. But, no one's fucked up Captain America yet, at least not recently.
