Maybe we ought to propose an amendment to change the constitution to say "All men are created equal - except the fags."

Really, though, the religious right doesn't want legislation to infringe on the practice of their beliefs - but sadly go about it by writing legislation which infringes on those of others. What really ought to happen is to change the wording of it all to specifically exclude religious terms in entirety and let them handle their own shit.
