So the doc at the clinic peered in my ear, pronounced my eardrum and my ear canal red, and my throat too. I match. She promptly tossed me some antibiotics, told me to stop irrigating my ear with warm water (but it makes it feel better!) and gave me a prescription for antibiotic drops and pain-relief drops. I have an ear infucktion of the worst order. I have hearby been sent to the local convenient care clinic, which does not open until 11:00 AM.

I want to sleep. It huuuuuuurts.

Watching the Science Channel (Discovery); they're showing a documentary on the right whales in the Bay of Fundy (homesick, yes I am). There are only 5 mitochondrial DNA lines in the entire population. (ie. all animals are descended from 5 seperate females X number of years ago) Talk about severe inbreeding! Dan's being trained at a facility in Forsyth, GA. He'll be home on the weekend, but until then I am all alone with the cats and the fish - I was pretty anxious about it, for some reason, however right now I'm kind of liking being alone! I just had a wild green anole jump on me - pictures of green anoles on this page - we have a pair living under our deck. I believe this was a female, and she was looking rather brown at the moment - probably due to the 2 sets of hungry eyes staring at her. She got in the house somehow, and was sitting on the coatrack.
