I lol'ed about the Carlsberg in the Sherlock fic! I was actually just over in the UK last month (will make a big post about it some time soon hopefully) and riding the Tube was so hideous... Yeah, it's cleaner than NYC subways but aaagh. Guess I'm just not a city person. I was so much less stressed when we got up to Scotland.

I'm dl'ing the Sherlock eps now - I feel like I will miss the Victoriana factor but I hear good things, so I'm betting I'll get over that. ;)
