Oh goodness, how sweet! I think I must have turned off the thing where I get emails about people replying to my posts. 'Cause I just happened to come back here... lucky me!

I miss you too, dollface. How's life? I'm so glad you're still Serious Science Girl. I always loved that about you. Even when the shit was hitting the fan, your hardcore-smartness was present almost like a separate entity, kicking ass and taking names. Oh, and feeding mice.

I just re-read my post that you replied to above... it sounds so depressing, like "I don't have any readers left...", like I'm on a deserted island, about to eat the last box of crackers, then just wait to die... ridiculous! Recent life has been exceptionally good to me, and I hope it has been good to you too. I'm actually going to be in Oregon this coming weekend (Bend, not Portland). But I should plan a jaunt down there this summer. I'd love to see you.
