So here I sit, victim? of insomnia. It's a beautiful morning with the light of the sun peaking over the trees onto Papa's Pond. Odd, this is how I expect my parties to end, champagne breakfast at sunrise, but it never seems to work out that way

I was glad to help you and Clarence. I was just ranting in this post because life is what it is and not what I want it to be. I'll go back tomorrow to producing the industrial sameness in living space and make a living thereby.

It makes me sick how undervalued the things that make us human are these days, (like art, craft, nature, knowledge for the sake of knowledge, and other wholesome beautiful things) and how overvalued the things that make us monsters are (like corporate profit being placed above clean air, and big pharma charging for drugs sick people need, and marketing illness to the impressionable consumer, etc). :sigh:

You're not dumb, you're just brave and stubborn enough to do what you love to do, even when it's hard.

That is exactly what I fear will happen with my own ability. I'm afraid I'll be stuck in a cubicle using my digital artistic skills making adds for shoes in magazines.

You need to move somewhere that people have money to spend on creative things and apreciate them. It's not here.
