The Comprehensive Film-Maker's List of Goodies

May 11, 2006 22:32

I've decided to make a comprehensive post with anything and everything that might be useful to non-professional film-makers, fan-vidders, or other hobbyists. If there are any links that are broken, missing, or if you think I've forgotten to add something ( Read more... )

WOW. O_O
If my hard drive was big enough, I'd totally take everything XD BUT, since I can't, I'll have to look at it a while before I can decide.

Thank you, hun! You are so awesome XD ♥

Hehehe, well, if you're wanting to move up from Windows Movie Maker, I *highly* recommend the Avid Free DV. Like I said up there, it can seem overwhelming if you're just stepping up from the basic level video editors, but if you take a night or two and go step by step with the tutorials, you'll realize just how easy it really is to get the hang of.

That is, if you are wanting to stick your toes into the waters of fanvidding, or maybe just putting together a cute video from family pictures and stuff. (Hey, makes for a cheap and easy gift, and your family will think you're a friggin' genius! XD)

I'm gonna keep adding more stuff as I find it. And just to think, this is all the legal free stuff! XD

^_^ Have fun hunting through everything! The only program I've tried so far has been the Avid Free DV, a video editor that I absolutely LOVE, and the FreePlayMusic website. (FreePlayMusic is where I got all of the music for my Grand Theft Auto: LCC (not final version) project that we did for my Desktop Media Productions class.

I'll be adding more to this list as I find them! :D
