I wasn't sure. Did you want this analyzed?

Actually, I already had it analyzed. My mother being a part of the dream, yet noticeably out of place, signifies my fear that my parents are trying to break up my relationship. His death is symbolic of my fears of losing him. That encompasses breaking up and him going back to New Jersey for the summer (emotionally losing him). Thanks for the offer though.

Lack of money being your own worries about money and not being able to take care of him, high school being the place where you had your worst fears about your preferences and that coming into play. Life support I'm not sure; was there someone in your family that had surgery recently?

It's not that I worry about being able to take care of him financially, I worry about him financially being able to take care of himself. And no, no one in my family has had surgery (or anything similar) lately.

When Joe and I started dating I had the same type of thing happen. I'd have dreams of either him dying or I would be dying and worry about if meant much at all to him. Then I owned up to the fact that my fears had no basis. I think it's part of any new or relatively new relationship that you fear your partner might become metaphorically dead to you in the fact that they won't reciprocate your feelings. Until you face that fear head on it will lurk in the back of your mind. Truthfully, from what I've seen of you two, you have nothing to worry about.
