Thanks for the index page. And thank you for telling me. I miss a lotta stuff and even if it's right in front of me an about to kick my ass. I'm such a dork. XD
You know, a post in kakairu prompted me to read the entire series. I didn't get to do it the last february. That was the time our house was renovated thus cutting off my internet for 6 mos.
And I must say I am very very glad I got to read this. And it was actually in my lj memories. (damn my brain for forgetting things.)
I just wanted to say this is very very very nice. I love everything about it. The simplicity and the complexity if you know what I mean. (*grins*) and it put a smile on my face at 7:45am even after not having slept the entire night. ^__^
I'm going to lurk around in your LJ for more fics sometime soon so I hope it's okay that I added you as a friend. ^__^
This was beautiful. Absolutely marvelous. It's amazing reading dialogue that works as story so flawlessly. You are a wonderful author, I must proclaim that quite avidly.
Iruka's odd fixation on odd numbers was rather entertaining--
"I have twenty one cookies PRECISELY and if you eat that one there will only be twenty and twenty is an even number and I HATE even numbers and NO, I am not nervous, so stop looking at me like that." Finishing lamely. Scowling at the smirk. "You're all dressed up and ready to hit the town, so get out of my apartment -"
"Iruka."
"What?"
"You've been tapping your fingers in the Fibonacci sequence."
-
"When I got a look at the cookies with the Sharingan." Thumb runs over the scar, eliciting shudders. "There were exactly one hundred and twenty one red sprinkles on every one."
--especially loved the detail of the Fibonacci sequence, and rather enjoyed the lesson on logistics.
Anko's characterization is EPIC. It is balanced between slutty and snarky and humor and serious and just so damned HUMAN
