is it bad that today i said -

"i don't recycle, i have a life"

well, i recycle clothing and household objects, cds, books, etc but not plastic bottles. i know i should but i just never have the time or space to.

please share your ideas and tips about recycling.

My parents have a bigger bin for recycling then they do for garbage. Do you have recycling pick-up where you are? That's made the big difference for me.

In germany there is a "container deposit legislation" so you have to pay like 25 cent or something (it varies from 8 to 50 cent) for each bottle/can, etc and get it back when you return it. There are a few weird exceptions (thank you wikipedia "The deposit legislation does not cover containers for fruit juice, wine, spirits, liquors, and certain dietary drinks."....) but mostly it's done.
It certainly helps recycling... and even if you're too lazy, you can still throw them away or put them in the streets because there's tons of people who collect bottles and cans from the street, it's insane.
