I almost definitely am going to attend uni in 2008 in Northern Ireland - that is, if they will take me.

I just decided and I'm nearly shitting myself with excitement.  (The revelation came with another one clearly.)  Glasgow was another choice, but if I can be on Eire again, I will.

Nice! What are you doing and what university? I went to Queen's, currently doing my Ph.D there...finished this year tho.

I know already :D It's one of the advantages of reading your LJ as a "friend." Almost done with your dissertation or thesis (or whatever the heck you guys call it there) yet?

I might have to go to UU Magee for the particular type of stuff I want (graphic/web design). Queen's doesn't offer anything like that for postgrads, it seems. If you hear of anything like that, let me know. :) Queens and UU Belfast are my first choices, so I can be close to my friends, but I'm not going for another degree I don't want again!

wish i could say i was def going to queen's, but i'm fairly positive it has no postgrad degrees i want to pursue. :(
