Yesterday Woof and I were picking out birthday cards and father's day cards for various family members. It was fascinating how our perceptions of people differed, how the card he thought was perfect for my brother-in-law Trent was so unsuited to the way I see Trent, for example.
Cards are always an interesting way to see who really knows you or whoever gets the card. My family gets me funny, stupid or (ugh!) sentimental ones, but my friends all get me kinky cards, if they get a card at all. Mostly I say don't waste the $2, but nobody listens.
Yeah, I got to brooding about things in the wee hours and that just poured out of me. Can't say it's wrong - not nice, yeah, but also correct.
