I JUST saw the wedding episode of the L word.....It has left me very uneasy. It was quite disconcerting. I was never a big fan of Carmen...or "Sharmen". But when I watched this I actually felt bad for old Carmelita...dude. Break up with someone BEFORE they are walking down the aisle to meet you. Yes I have been a little bit of a dirtbag like Shane

it doesnt imply that shane went off with a hooker. What it does imply is that shane is the female form of her father & that if she marries Carmen she will cheat on her even after marriage. shane didnt show up at the altar because she wanted to spare Carmen the pain that would ensue in the long run & in a weird sense it was the biggest act of love she could give Carmen because she knew she would make the same mistakes her dad did & she didnt want to be like her father by entering a marriage filled with lies and infedility...ironically enough she acted like her father in the sense that all she does is run away.

i KNOW she didnt go off with a hooker, idiot---but....she is not DESTINED to be her father. she can change it. I never liked "Sharmen" anyway...but she shouldnt have even asked her to get married. that was stupid. it was her idea. PS....they arent sure actually. Carmen MAY come back so they left it open. Also there was a deleted scene...shane was at the busstop with her dads wife. thats where she went so i dont feel bad. it was just like...she had to tell her AFTER she was walking down the aisle...just bothered me is all
