Finally Home. Last two weekends were extremely long and adventurous.
The Oakland Trip was so fun. I learned a lot and got a lot closer with my friends on that end. Very energetic ride there singing all sorts of random songs. We got to the hotel and unpacked everything and things just set off from there. A hotel + friends is already fun on its own. Me and Chris went on a mission to sneak in Vince's TV into our room without being caught and we went on an adventure and found ourselves on the Parkings 5th Private Level. It was just an empty room and an empty hallway with a nice scenic view. The route we wound was successful.
The songs we played, luckily, I were very familiar with all of them. I'm glad we didn't play a lot of songs I haven't heard before or only played once. I think once on stage, everyone started forgetting things and didn't give it 100%. I felt a lot more engaged during practice at Vernon's. Perhaps they were disappointed about the show this year? Who knows. I'm sure everyone had a fun time. I had good ass sandwiches.
I found the last thing I thought I'd find in Oakland.
and then...
The Cross Country Trip was fun. Bonfire. Beach. Horseback Riding. A Bunch of friends to one house staying up, watching movies, playing games, BBQ. It was everything I wanted to with closer friends. It would've been the perfect weekend.
