so i've been thinking fifth year, and feeling pretty sure about it, but i'm starting to reconsider a little. because, really? it doesn't make as much sense as i was thinking at first. half the reason i was thinking fifth year was because, hey, finding a job right now is going to be not easy. and somehow i just thought, if i'm still a student, i don ( Read more... )

here's an idea if you don't do fifth year. apply to some post-baccalaureate programs places other than agnes that might have something a little more specialized for what you could want to do in the future. or you could move to san francisco and be a bum. or become a go-go dancer.

lets see....
if you decide to stay in school for one more year, yes everything else will be expensive and you'll have to work your ass off in order to afford to live in atlanta...(i suggest a coffee shop or bookstore for you.)
but if you don't do it...you might regret it later and by then it will be too late to have an extra year of free school. and you'll still have to work your ass off.
i say go for it...because yeah it will be hard but atleast you'll be with people you know and actually be ready once your 5th year is over.

You could always offer yourself as a RLC or something to Agnes -- they apparently love hiring back their recent graduates, and don't you think you'll love getting phone calls in the middle of the night by random firstyears?
