Ibuprofen and... stuff? *eyebrow raise*

How is the internship going? I'm wondering about applying for next year... only thing is, I'll still have two more years of uni to go after that, soooo...

Oh, do! There's heaps of people who have interned two summers before working. They're usually the ones doing law + something - that's what you're doing, no? If you're doing 2 degrees, applying early is almost standard practice.

Any idea of which service line you're keen to work in?

Mmm, no idea. I'm kind of not really sure where my degree is going at the moment - it's going to be a single degree (law) with double honours (economics and either law or finance). What does that lend itself to? :P

I have a feeling I will fail miserably at getting internships anyway. I go to pieces in interviews. Does not bode well for having any kind of future career. D:

Tax? I'm interning with the tax team at the moment, and most of the people their have either an accounting degree, or a law degree. If you've got a law degree, and have done even only really basic accounting, you're probably exactly what they're looking for.

Otherwise, maybe advisory? Or consulting? Less of the accounting side of things, and more of the business help/planning. Be careful though, because it doesn't seem like they take many interns/grads in these areas...

Don't worry about the interviews! Apply a year early, and go into the interview believing you don't need the job (no matter how desperately you want it). From experience, most employers have already decided who they want by the time they're at interview stage - they just want to know you're not an arrogant git who can't speak English. I highly doubt you'll fall in either category :P
