My review
Saw Conan the Barbarian.
Terrible plot. Too little Jason. Rose looked kinda whacked out and had little plot point, honestly. Bad guy, not that bad.
Great shirtless Jason. Great butt scene. Ron Perlman was excellent, though. I like him. And the young Conan. He was pretty awesome. And apparently Laila Rouss was in it but I didn't notice. Cause I was staring at the pretty.
But don't see it in 3-D. Not worth the money. Didn't see any flexy butt scenes like I wanted. However, I will be more than willing to pay to see it again. Cause Jason butt. Jason shirtless. Jason gravelly voice. I'm not an overly analytical person when the sheer reason to see is the pretty. Jason deserves roles where he speaks a lot. Because, GUH. I would pay like a bitch in heat to see those.
Overall verdict? See for Jason. Don't see for great movie plot.
Also, this was the first movie since Iron Man 2 I've seen in theaters. No, really. It is. I go to the movies...maaaaaybe 3 times a year if it's a good year. Before Twilight 2, which I saw drunk as a skunk, the last movie I'd seen was Australia...and before THAT, the last movie I'd seen was HP 3 and The Village. I mostly went cause I think Jason's a good actor, a sweetheart every time I've met him, and I want him to do well. Made it easier to watch the eye candy.
Also trailers of movies that I would be willing to see: Abduction, Straw Dogs, Red Tails, and The Immortals (in 3D, even though I generally don't like the makings). I do love me some action flicks.
