Been in hospital. Still am. 14th will be a week. Stress triggered BAD DKA. My kidney whatevers were 2.1. Let's just say I almost died, shall we? I'm alive and that's what counts ( Read more... )

Holy shit, it can't get much worse than that. (My Grandpa had Diabetes type I and he had several DKAs in the short portion of my life that he was alive.)

Doctors who chide without any concept that life still happens to you regardless of your health problems are complete arseholes.
