Recently watching my local PBS station (Public Broadcasting Network), I decided that I would peruse their selection of British imports.

*sigh*

Let me list for you, what English gems have been imported to the American masses (not including what one might be able to pick up on a cable station, or Benny Hill)

On behalf of the British public:

As Time Goes By-I'm sorry
Waiting for God-I'm sorry
Keeping Up Appearances-I'm sorry
Last of the Summer Wine-I'm sorry
Are you being served?-I'm a little sorry
My Hero-I'M REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY SORRY.

Could be worse though- do you have My Family yet?

Vera! I wanna see those books right now! :O

Bah. They send you all the mierda. You totally need Little Britain and Black Books for snarky, nasty British comedy at its best.

As Time Goes By is the sweetest little show ever. Of course, you're probably supposed to be over-40 to like it, and obviously I'm aging prematurely, but I like it a lot.
