So, for all those who happen to stumble upon this, I need your halps.

I've been experimenting with lotions and potions for the last couple of days. After the whole soap thing became a bit of a disaster, I've decided to start with what I know the best, which are body scrubs (as I've been making them for myself for a long time). Hence, the lotions ( ( Read more... )

Well, in terms of soap, I look for what's cheapest at Honest Ed's, or else what my mother has a bunch of around that I can swipe when I'm in Santa Barbara.

Um. I'm not the best person to ask since I don't use lotion except for hand lotion. Everything else clogs up my pores including the ones guaranteed not to.

In hand lotion, I want something that smells nice but is light and absorbs quickly. I don't want it to leave finger marks on my touch screen at work after I put it on.

For the company name, have you considered "A Slice of Phi"?

I don't often use lotions because they tend to take time to sink in, and also because I don't need a lot of lotion, my skin is generally pretty healthy. I use moisturizer on my hands a lot, and right now I'm weaving between Rocky Mountain Soap Company's hand butter - which is quite oily but sinks in really quickly for me with some good rubbing, and I tend to give my hands a good rubbing because of my neuropathy, (and I have a bunch of their butters from when I worked there) - and The Body Shop's Satsuma body butter, which is.. well, Body Shop, most people have tried their stuff. Nice, super strong fragrance which is kinda iffy (but dang it I've loved Satsuma since I was like 12 or something), but it also goes in pretty quick ( ... )
