You are practicing as much as you can/should. If you want to practice more, you'll make the time for it. If, however, you want to spend time doing other things like reading and having a life, that's okay, too. Because your life's activities will inform your music, and that's something one should never regret.
hmm. That's a very good way to look at things, I think. I'll rephrase then: I want to practice more, and now that I have my cello back, and am feeling better, I have both the means and the motivation to do as much as I would like.
