i cannot speak my throat is shut against any sound i'd care to sound it's coated with soreness jam and painful globular clusters that sparkle like spittle in the sun (the kind that resides on the lips of old men). sometimes i cannot hear my head is full of fuzziness and that not-quite-soft stuff that lives inside teddy bears and there is no room
