so, when i signed up for this summer program there was a place where you write an essay to apply for a fellowship. i didn't do that because, well, i'm really lazy. i didn't know that getting one of those fellowships is basically a given, it's not my fault. anyway, i got an email today saying that i got $2500 for the summer. without applying.

so i had this secret plan to come visit you this summer. i figured that since indiana is south of michigan it had to be closer to dc, so i could just take a weekend and drive to dc. this turns out to be untrue! i think my geography is a little off. i'm still formulating a plan.

I know that means nothing is set really, but still. I also would think Indiana would be closer because of the south thing, but I suppose the west versus east thing is just as important.

Do what you can and if not I'll meet you in Tennessee or something. That could be fun!
