I do believe there should be no ? after the TBC :D Haha, this was fantastic, one of the best HG AUs i've read in a while and it's only on the first chapter!

Glee/HG, who knew this NEEDED to exist? Brilliant. Please do continue this verse! Love the characterizations so far.

Thank you! There have been a few HG/Glee fics running around, but they are mostly one-shots from what I've read, although there are a few incomplete multi-chaptered fics on FF.net. Still, I haven't seen one where Kurt and Rachel are paired up yet, so I thought I'd give it a spin!

I'm glad that the characterization worked for you; it's what I fret over the most when I write. Again, thank you for reading and commenting.

I haven't started reading this yet, but oh, I am so excited! Is this the thing you have been working on? Can I read it without having read the Hunger Games? OMG OMG OMG OMG flailing!

p.s. And if you are ever inclined, you are ALWAYS free to ask me for a last-minute beta. I am on my computer usually at least once every few hours (except when sleeping or traveling somewhere that doesn't have an internet connection - NO!) and have chat turned on most of the time. Not saying that you need a beta, anyway, 'cause I'm betting this is perfection.

OMG OMG OMG OMG, your comment is making me flail.

No, this wasn't supposed to exist until a few days ago! I was working on an Edwardian!Klaine fic inspired by Maurice, but then I got The Hunger Games trilogy, finished it, and this thing wouldn't leave me alone. (Now I feel like I've betrayed my other fic... D:)

And you should be able to follow this without having read the series; I quickly wrote a The HG in a Nutshell note that I left up there - feel free to ask me if there's anything unclear, though!

P.S. Oh, you make me blush, but I'm sure there's room for improvement - this is inspirational word-vomit; I made nearly no efforts to embellish it, although I might have had a little too much fun with the verb tense sequences. (And that ending, why so dramatic?) This having been said, I would love for you to beta this series (were I to ever write it, and I have a feeling that it is going to happen) except that I'm not quite sure how long it would be (10 chapters, perhaps?)

I got to read it! Yay!

I vote for Kurt and Blaine to use their potent combination of wit and charm to convince all the tributes to stage an insurrection, nay, a bloodless coup! After which Kurt will be elected president. Because I don't want anybody to die. The current government can just go to jail forever.

And you MUST work on that one inspired by Maurice! It's one of my favorite books, and Clive drives me nuts *every single time.* So curious to know if they are Maurice and Clive or Maurice and Scudder. My only problem with the book is that Scudder is underdeveloped, so I have to take it at face value that they live happily ever after. I always want Clive to see the error of his ways. Or for EM Forster to come back from the grave to flesh out Scudder more.

Which do you opt for? Will I finally be happy?

Reading a Hunger Games AU is just torture. This seems pretty interesting since Blaine is a Career.

That is oh-so-true, and writing it will probably be painful as well, considering all the death plotting and the impossibility of a truly happy ending (unless one pulls some twist a la Deus ex machina); it's partly why I'm still hesitant.

Thank you for reading!
