I haven't been alone in so long until last night, just walking from his car to my steps I hadn't felt so alone in months. People take company for granted, and then when they aren't alone they bombard themselves with images and sounds and words on screens and pages, I'm overwhelmed. Walking alone seems like a neat idea.
