Burning Bright

Awaken my flame
kindling deep in my roots
crimson embers sparking to life
blossoming furiously in my emerald heart
engulf me in your passion
consume me with your light
send my prayers to the stars
leaving only ash and embers
for my lustrous heart to feed upon
