I've never much cared for the daytime and sunlight, myself. Always been a night person. Daytime is ok and it can certainly come in handy, but I much prefer the dark.

I have found that to be the majority in the elves I have known... I myself crave sunlight, without a healthy dose of light I am not a very happy elf. The story I wrote just came through me one day when I was thinking about vampires and elves, and how at one time we might have been one people.
Though the vampiric elves seemed to crave the light instead of fearing it.
