Very early this morning on ESPN2 they had this program and apparently it was showcasing Great American Pasttimes...but these weren't regular pasttimes. The program that I wound up watching (which of course I would have turned off had it been a regular sport) was a hot dog eating contest. Eating hot dogs apparently is totally hardcore and patriotic
